SOC Analyst
Job Description
Join our client's Security Operations Center as an SOC Analyst where you will play a critical role in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats. In this position, you will analyze security events, investigate potential incidents, and implement proactive security measures to protect our systems and data. You will work in a 24/7 SOC environment, collaborate with security teams, and contribute to threat intelligence efforts. Requirements
- 3+ years of SOC or cybersecurity experience
- Security certifications (Security+, CISSP, or equivalent)
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, ELK Stack)
- Knowledge of threat detection and incident response
- Familiarity with network security concepts
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (PCI, HIPAA)
- Shift work availability (24/7 operations)
